OMG! A fantastic time was had by all. Except...the actors were touching me!!! Yikes!! Is that the special treatment? You shouldn't do that to an old lady...I might have a heart attack! Smiley

Glad you had a great time!
Special treatment? No.. but there was someone at the door excitedly saying "Im a Frightseeker, you can touch me"
We did wonder what we could do with that, but then (you?) disappeared through the door.
Oh, everyone gets the special treatment here.  ;-)
We're only trying to keep you.... a little bit at a time...
yes.

Hmmm....I don't remember saying anything like that before I entered!

I was trying to muster my nerve to go first. I always think that if I'm quiet, no one will think to scare me too badly. Smiley

Alright, so what happened to Julie & Caroline?   They survive?  Spill the stories   Wink

Caroline barely survived!  The scares were nonstop throughout the houses!!  Caroline was like a cat on the ceiling the entire time: wide-eyed jumping Jack rabbit!!! The moss man totally turned her inside out and so did the unraveling maze mayhem!!!

Thank you for an amazing experience we will never forget sharing together!!!

We paid $20 plus VIP and would have gotten right back in line and paid another $20 to do it all again if there were time.  Totally different from when I went first weekend, and full of tangy, quirky, freaky, scary fun!!!!

Looks like great weather for the weekend!
We've been waiting all week - and we're ready to squeeze the screams right out of you!
Oh yes...
Tonight we're off to visit* our fellow fiends at X-Treme Fear and Spookywoods, but Friday and Saturdaay, we'll be back home at the Hacker House, waiting... giggling... waiting... sharpening... giggling... waiting... digging... waiting...

FrightSeekers,

! Only two more nights of fright left for 2012 !

This Friday and Saturday will be scary fun, as we're hosting several haunts.  Actors and staff from Spookywoods, Camp Fear, XTreme Fear, Haunted Whimsies, and others will be at the Hacker House.  So, c'mon out and visit with what may be the largest gathering of haunted people in the area - this weekend!

Someone decided to do a 'controlled' burn on Pilot Mountain (the state park) to control the underbrush.
A reporter asked if it were a good time to do it with "all the wind".
The reply was that 'we have been planning this for months'.  Uh huh.
The wind made the fire grow uncontrollably, catching trees on fire (not just underbrush) and is currently burning the mountain.
From the haunt, it looks like a huge white cloud.  At night the mountain glows.
They're dumping water on it from a helicopter...
No danger from the monsters though, they're happily waiting for December.
