Thanks to everyone who came out to scream with us this weekend!
We saw some unique scare-avoiding strategies this weekend with folks hiding under coats (and not missing the walls), crawling commando-style through buildings, dancing in circles, trying to shake their hands off, melting into a fetal position and refusing to move (for a looonnngg time), we even had wet pants in the courtyard queue from a visit (or two or three) from our creatures...
good times!

scare-avoiding strategies

yeah...i have a few of those that i resort to...instinctively.
try to shrink my head into my shoulders, like a turtle
hold my hands over my mouth
hide my hands in my hoodie sleeves
duck down
it's funny to me, even when i catch myself doing it

I noticed the other night that my daughter covers her ears when she thinks a scare is coming.  I guess if she can't hear it, then it really didn't happen...lol

Gee, Sissy, that's not good. Seeing as I have an hour drive up there to think about it, I'll be petrified before I even get there!!

Must be something special calling me up to HH again tonight, too!!!  I'm bringing my virgin friend, Caroline, and I told her she's in for the ride of her life!!!!

Whoo hoo!!!!

We are 38 miles away...

Can't wait, Professor!

I tried to think of a logical solution that could explain what I had just seen a solution that excluded the assumption that I was insane.

OMG! A fantastic time was had by all. Except...the actors were touching me!!! Yikes!! Is that the special treatment? You shouldn't do that to an old lady...I might have a heart attack! Smiley

People in my personal bubble always freak me out...and they were not only in it, they invaded! Good job folks!

My friend and I raved about the experience all the way back home. Another great experience, HH! You folks are always in my top 3 haunts of the season.
