I've spoken with Admin, and we're going to see if any of the non-featured haunts want to throw in some tickets. If anyone happens to know someone with a non-featured haunt, or anyone affiliated with one as such, please put out the word!

Monster Tour Update!!!
Fellow Frightseekers, this season we will be making the Monster Tour a little more "challenging". In the past, we have merely given Monster Tour tickets away. This has unfortunately led to a lot of unused tickets. Admin even has leftover tickets from last season that were never claimed. So this season you're going to have to work for some of these tickets. Don't misunderstand, we are still doing a giveaway, but some of the tickets must be earned.
Having said that, here are a few hints...
1) Signing up + never posting = No tickets
We want to give tickets to active members willing to possibly submit a review for any haunt they attend.
2) If you're not following NCHaunts/Frightseekers on Twitter and/or Facebook...well...shame on you, and I'll leave it at that.
3) UPDATE YOUR PROFILE! If we don't have an email address or location, it makes it much harder (read: impossible) for us to give you tickets!
Hints don't get much more straightforward that than. Let's make this the best Frightseekers haunt season ever!!!

so, my question is...outside of (1) updated profile (2) actively posting and (3) becomming a member on FB (which I am)...do we have to submit a request for MonsterTour tickets? Or are they dispensed at random?
This may be spelled out clear as a bell somewhere...and I jsut haven't stumbled accross it yet...

Very good question. I can't really say the tickets are dispensed "at random", as certain factors are taken into consideration (as I've already stated). But they're not given away with any kind of discrimination.

X-treme Fear in Greensboro is an awesome haunt. I went for the first time last year and ended up going through several times. Linda who owns it is a wonderful woman and does a great job. Can't wait to go again this year.
