Even though mapquest says it's about an hour, i think that if you don't mind the drive, you could do Hacker House and Castle of Horror in one night, and possibly check out Nightmare on Scales Street (a local haunt) too. They are major roads and a pretty straight shot; just start out early.
Question: How far are Campground Massacre and Haunted Mill from each other? I'm thinking about trying both of them in one night next weekend.

K2,
Campground Massacre and Haunted Mill can easily be done in the same night. I'd say they are about 20 minutes from each other. A nice one combo if you ask me!

Great, thanks. Now I know where I'm going next weekend already!! I wish I had known about this forum last year. I had visited NCHaunts many times, but never realized the forum was here.

Yeah eddie is right, it is very easy to do both CM and HM in one night... plus it makes for a great night if you get to look forward to two haunts.

castle of horror is about 15 minutes apart from WOT or x-treme fear . Linda or Mark @ x-treme will be more than happy to tell you how to get there. include WOT and make a night of it. happy haunting

Everyone is right. There are several haunts that can all be done in one night. Woods of Terror, Spookywoods, Hacker House, Xtreme Fear, Mountain of Terror, and Castle of Horror could all be paired together in one night. WoT and Xtreme are the closest together, literally 5 minutes or less. The others are probably 20 - 30 minutes or more, but if you get to the first haunt early, they are easily doable.
Haunted Mill, Campground Massacre, BarH and Haunted Pyramids are all easily within driving distance of each other, too. I've experienced all of these haunts except BarH and Pyramids (which I have been told are great), and each one of them is well worth a visit.
