I'm going to sound like an "old man" here but.... here goes" be thankful that it was a BLACK snake, that way you don't have to worry about  copperheads, moccasins, so on...." I bet you don't have a problem with cats getting in  the trash either!  ;DLOL

I had a good size copperhead in my backyard a few months ago.  We have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and I have a young niece and nephew that run around the backyard.  Needless to say, I check out my entire yard on a regular basis now.

Yeah, my buddy Jonathan (I believe he is jhc36 on this site) is a snake lover and gave me the ol' "Black snakes are good!" talk, I still think they are horrifying creatures.

I'd rather have bigfoot roaming around my complex than a couple of harmless snakes!

And Slappy those copperheads are pure evil!

Hmmm...my biggest fears....I am MORTIFIED by heights, and I REFUSE to get on planes. I don't have any of the typical phobias such as the fear of spiders, snakes and such. Also, doomsday talk scares the CRAP out of me.

I absolutely despise bats, I cant stand them, one was in our house and I moved in with a friend for 2 months till it went away.
