Anyone been there?  In my opinion, one of the BEST multi-themed haunts in the country.  there's so much going on that it's almost too intense...

Been there many times.  A most excellent haunt!
(If you go, go there on weekdays in early Oct. - weekends are insanely crowded)

We went to Netherworld Saturday, September 25, 2011.  We were down there seeing the play Wicked (which, is really great) - and timed our show for when Netherworld opened.  It was not crowded at all but it was opening weekend and early, too. Word up: e-l-a-b-o-r-a-t-e.  There are two houses.  We were told to go to big one first and it was...beautiful?  Is that really how we describe it?  Yes, really.  The effects were stimulus overload - the environment and atmosphere was truly stimulating!  A 4-D experience!  Many, many sights to behold!  Awesome monsters, awesome scenes, great sneaky scares, and fabulous actors who really take their characters seriously.  And professional, too.  We didn't go all pee-pee pants, but we both had our jaws glued to the floor taking in all the stimulation and sets.  Wow.  This place is a bucketlist for any haunt owner who wants to see the latest-and-greatest effects in action.  Read the site first (fearworld.com) so you know the storyline a little first - it helps becuase there is so much going on in there you can get lost.  It's really FUN.  You will leave smiling and chatting away about all the coolness.  Really entertaining!  (Not too scary, though, but suddenly that doesn't seem important anymore in this spectacle of wicked magic.)  A must do for all halloween heads, at least once.

If you don't pay attention and if your imagination isn't pretty much engaged, you're going to miss things and you're going to miss opportunities for it to be as compelling and as creepy as it can be. -Bruce Greenwood
