just wanted to know if  anyone else is getting ready for the 2010 season? I realize that most haunts keep their "new" themes or set designs under wraps untill they open, but thought maybe someone might be willing  to throw out a teaser or two. Grin

Hi slaughtermail,
We've been working on the Hacker House (as much as the weather allows) since last November.
From our guest's feedback, we're putting in several changes this season to improve our show.
We're bringing back a  requested scene from past seasons,
we're making the entire show longer,  expanding our parking areas a bit,
and improving the exit area... all with some new surprises, of course.
And there will be several new characters to play with you too...
Behind the scenes, we're currently constructing a new wardrobe building and
making many changes that will improve our internal operations.

We'll be sharing more as the season approaches...  ;-)

Glad to hear it Prof. It seems  like only yesterday we had the whole, rain & snow is destroying everything conversation. I look forward to checking you guys out this year. Planning on going early in the seaon" prob. your fisrt weekend open. I usually  take my actors to a few haunts each year before we open. I tried last year but I think you guys were like 160 miles one way... from our haunt, so it was a little to far to take everyone, but this year a few of my diehards & myself will be there.
Keep me updated.

I've been promoting my new haunt consulting, actor training, and voice work company for haunted attrtactions at conventions throughout the country.  Just got back from HAuNTcon in Florida and will be going to Midwest Haunters in Columbus Ohio in a few weeks.  I've also been reviewing and rewriting (as I do constantly) my actor training methods as I just received new training materials from a friend of mine in Texas...

In addition, my haunted acting troupe is getting in shape and preparing to work at whatever local and regional haunts will hire us for a weekend or two...
