Attention All Frightseekers!!!

We are having a contest!  An official Frightseekers t-shirt design contest!

That's right, this year we will be designing and selling NCHaunts Frightseekers and Review Team t-shirts (and possibly sweat shirts)!  As such, we need an official Frightseekers logo.  We already have the NCHaunts.com logo, but we need something to make us stand out even more!

We will have a main logo on the shirt.  We will also offer the option for the Review Team members to have "Official Review Team" on the sleeve.  We will also offer the option for anyone to put their name and/or screen name on the front of their shirt!

But before we do any of that, we need that logo!  So, all of you Photoshop freaks and Paint psychos, let's go!  We have only 2 weeks until all designs must be submitted.  We will then have 2 (yes, 2) days to vote on the winning design.

"What do I get," you might ask?  The winner will receive a prize.  We are waiting for validation on the prize, but if definitely will be something worthwhile, that I guarantee!

So, without further ado, show me what you can do Frightseekers!!!!

I'll start things off with a design submitted by Sabrina 913.

I have to agree.  If no one designs, we'll probably just use the default logo.  What kind of motivation do you need?

Entries must be in by Friday, July 30th.  The voting will be that Saturday and Sunday, so get your entries in ASAP!!!

If no one designs then i should win by default. I put a lot of time into the two shirts i designed. Although, I can't believe I am the only one that got excited over this! How can people call themselves true haunt goers if they don't even try? For shame!

Sabrina, where did you get the picture of the t-shirt for your design?

Japanese subtitled horror is my absolute favorite, so that is what inspired it. Japanese ghosts don't mess around! I found a picture of an eyeball, and then just built around it. I made the whole background grayish, added some black to that then smudged and blurred it, then added a bunch of hair that ended up being just the black background by the time I was done, added the blood in the eye and then the bloody lightening. I tried to add a mouth screaming but it wouldn't come out right. Then I added the text and you know how many times we went back and forth on the text till you liked it. I used Adobe Photoshop Elements and Picnik to get it the way it is.

You can do it any way you want.  Only thing is, we'd need a way to reproduce the image, so it would have to have the ability to be scanned, at the very least.  But if you have a good artist ability, I say absolutely go for it!

Come on Frightseekers!  There's over 1000 of you on here, some of you have to have artist ability, especially with Photoshop and/or Paint.  Do something simple or something extravagant, just do something!

I like the main image.
However, one of the things I'm concerned with is number of places you have to screen print.  You've got 4 places they would have to screen which would make this shirt really expensive.  Plus, you've got multiple colors going on which is going to drive up the cost. Trying to keep it to one or two colors would keep your shirt reasonable.

We already have someone set up to screen print the shirts.  We will even have the option of having them embroidered, but that will be far more expensive.  It allows for up to 4 colors, with the options for the sleeves and for the front.  I was merely giving an example.  Certain colors may have to be removed or changed, or perhaps black and white used.  I'm just trying to give people ideas.  Be creative, we can also tweak designs!
