Anyone been here before?  I met co-owner Dean Jones this year and after he told me about this place, it seems pretty cool.  If his haunt is half as good as his movie work, I might just have to plan a trip to Snow Camp...

I haven't been before but I've heard great things about it.  I'm hoping to make a mid-week trip up there late in the haunt season.

I've heard it's pretty to look at, but not very scary.  I've never been, though.

well here is my take on the original hollywood horror show.... yes there are some GREAT makeup effects going on there A+ but the problem is you dont get that feeling that the spooks are after you, i've been 3 times in the past 5yrs and to me personally i always feel like i am just behind the scenes of a movie and the monsters are playing a role not focused on you. second is the price i believe the last time i checked it was around the $20-$25 range and personally that to me is a little crazy to pay *mainly because i'm in college* for about a 10min walkthrough, not to mention the lines are sometimes RIDICULOUS!!!! Heres ones experience, went on a Saturday night 2nd weekend of October so we expected to stand in a line a bit, no we stood in line for 2 1/2hrs!!!! So basically if you like going to haunted house to see great spfx's and building designs this is the place for you, but if you're like me and you want to be scared ehhhhh maybe not worth it. Just my 2cents though guys!!!

Snow Camp is on our way to "like every hunted house in the world " so I've been there several times,
& being an owner of a haunt I might have a different opinion than alot of people. My take on it is this, their detail & prop work blows EVERYBODY away! No disrespect to anyone, there are some great haunts here in N.C. , but it's something completely different when it comes to the scene detail. The scare might or might not be there for you... but that's the case for every haunt, it's a personal thing that is different for everybody. I say if you never been you should go sometime. I get the WOW factor  everytime I go.... & besides what other haunt makes you feel like your about to see Indiana Jones?
Those who been know what I mean.
