Last night Meaness & I rode to The Massacre in Va. We had a good time, it reminded me so much of where our haunt came from not so long ago. The buliding, the theme, even a couple of their sets looked very much like " my good old days". The best part was everyone was enjoying what they were doing, & trying very hard to scare you. I talked to the owners afterwards & they were very nice & gave me a tour with the lights on" it was close to closing time". While is seemed strange NOT to go to a haunt with acres of land, a long trails, hayrides, & all the other stuff I've become accustomed to, It was almost therapeutic for me to be put back into that environment, all to similar to where I came from. If you are close to the Va line & want to see a non commercialized, throwback, "OLD SCHOOL" type haunt then check them out. Their web site is
