For those of you as sad as we are that Halloween has come and gone and most of the haunted attractions are going to be shutting down in a matter of days, Mountain of Terror gives you an alternative option to keep your haunt season still rolling along! http://www.mountainofterror.com/paidovernight.htmlClick the link above for more information And yes, the stories posted on there, are word for word just some of the stories that I have posted here on NCHaunts, for more in detail stories straight from us, be sure to look back in this section of the forum for more.

Mountain of Terror wants to thank each and every person who came out this year. Thank you guys SO much for making this year a great year. Even though the economy cut into our attendance it seemed, it was still a really great year. We really had a lot of fun this year. Even if you was one of the few who came out and did not enjoy the attraction thank you for giving us the chance. Hopefully next year we can even please the few of you that was unimpressed, we have big things in store from the looks of it already. Thank you guys for the great reviews, I am glad that we was able to supply you guys with a haunt that you guys found pleasing. Now, we are off to get a little much needed rest, get our lodge setup for the two free over night stays ... and then gear up for the people who have already put in their reservations. So much for an off season Again, thank you guys SO much!

You are very welcome, the reviews were all honest and lets hope things will be learned from them. Congratz on the success and hopefully MOT will be a featured haunt for the 09 season!

A lot of us working hard! So much so that I am JUST now getting around to popping into NC Haunts. Sad huh?
We have done a lot of revamping on the trail this year. We have also lowered our admission price this year, due to the struggling economy and all, we want to try to make it a little more affordable for those people who want to go to more than one attraction this year. So our admission for this year will be $13.00 for general admission.
Also, Mountain of Terror has joined forces with a few other local haunts this year to introduce haunthopper.com so be sure to check that out, has 6 REALLY great haunted attractions on there!

Good to see you back HauntLover. And a lower admission price? Awesome! Glad to hear some people understand the plight of the haunt-goer.
Any interesting stories from this years build?

Nothing too spooky to report from this year so far. However, we haven't had nearly as much activity on the property this early as we did last year either, with the rebuilding of the Miner's Lodge on site and all last year, we had a LOT going on during the pre-season last year, which may have provoked whatever it was that started up. Seems to get really riled as the season starts and we have more people through the attraction, so, I will be sure to keep you guys up to date with any strange activity. So far its just been the strange noise here, or something coming up missing there. Nothing major as of yet.

I just had a conversation with about 6 college kids looking to pump some adrenaline tonight...so I am sending them to MOT.
Oh & they are excited. I hope your actors torture them good. They are going to be a great group for ya'll.
I expect they'll show up around 9:30ish (if the rains stay away). Everyone is looking forward to the maze...I wish I was comming with them!
