I don't think we've ever done a thread on costumes, sadly. So let's see some costumes. Your costume, a friend's costume, your character's costume if you work at a haunt, or maybe just a costume you saw and took a picture of. Show us what you got!

various parts... not screen accurate, like most of mine I use what I like & looks good to me.... I don't want the handcuffs of being "exactly like ANY movie". The sweater is rubies deluxe, pants grey dickies with weathering details, metal glove is a trademarked "Nightmare on elm" collector piece that has been modified for use, "the finger holes for the ring & little finger were HUGE, so copper sleves were intalled to tighten up the feel, left hand was is/was EBAY JUNK... stay away for these... I only still use it because I don't want to spend $400 dollars for a CFX silicone glove that an actor WILL destroy, & the mask well it is called "butterfingerz" from The Devils Latex, & is the CLOSEST likeness of Robert E. I've seen to date, it looks much better on a guy with a smaller head, mine is BIG and round & dosen't do the mask justice.

Slaughter, the nose and mouth look A LOT like Robert Englund, it's pretty impressive. Interesting that you had to do that work to the glove to make it fit decently. Then again, nothing's perfect.
Badger, good effects on the face. And of course, love the knee pads for proper and safe sliding.

I think this year I'm going to just pick-up some liquid latex and work on my own facial prosthetic or something. Maybe save some trouble of buying masks and stuff...Scarowinds has had some of the best costumes/make-up I have seen at a haunt. They always, to me, go "top-notch" with the contacts and extra touches...

When we toured monster central at scarowinds, inside the building, at the back there was a wig with all these eyeballs attached. I wish I had gotten a photo but I didn't. I'd like to know the character that wears it.

Terrorizer, amazing things can be done with liquid latex and simple products most people have at home - toilet paper, cotton balls, paper towels. Check the internet, even youtube, there are countless sites and videos with how-to's and instructions.

Slappy, I figured that out last year when I stumbled upon how to layer paper towels and create scars, rips, etc. looking forward to new stuff this year!!

~honey~ is doing some awesome infected veins with cotton balls and latex at Hacker House this year. It's time consuming, but looks awesome.

I plan on expanding this year by having our victims go through our garage, up the stairs and through the front door as the exit. Any recommendations for the garage part?
