I plan on expanding this year by having our victims go through our garage, up the stairs and through the front door as the exit.    Any recommendations for the garage part?

I've always been a fan of    "use what you got"  I mean you'll never make the inside of your garage look like anything other than that without a lot of work, so it might work best... as a garage... do you have a work bench in there? put some body parts on it or make  a body that will look as it as been tortured on your work bench, use your tools if they are hanging above... cover them with fake blood, if you have a mower in your garage like most people you could make some fake legs hanging  out from under it & pour your fake blood all over like you just used it on the poor guy, use your imagination.. a garage haunt can have some great scenes with out a "buch of black plastic &  skeletons" & be more "real" as a garage.

I do have a workbench and various tools in there.  Those are great ideas!  Thanks for your help.  I will update as I work on it and let you know what direction I'm going in.

here's the yard haunt that blame elvis and i put on.  it's mostly a video of pics my buddy put together...it's small but tons of fun to put on.  we got well over a hundred people last year.
