Corn Stalk

Alright, just a quick question really. Myself and Blame Elvis will be doing our yard haunt again this halloween...and we were looking to add some corn stalk. Not a lot...but more than say...15 or 20. We were wondering if anyone knew of where we could get it and if so...is it possible to get it for free. I live in Charlotte...so I'm not sure that will help or hinder the process. I'm going to talk to Hodges Family farm off Rocky River Rd. when we buy our pumpkins...but besides that I really have no idea. If it can't be done...the idea will just be put on the backburner till next year. Thanks for any help.

I would have 2 suggestions. Triad Farmer's Market in Greensboro, or go to a local farm and ask if you can have some. Most farmers aren't as mean and gruff as they're usually portrayed in movies.

WWW.pumpkinrot.com look under his haunt, I think year 2009. He is so creative and puts together the best and most awesome displays. I admire his creativity. I would love to replicate that cornstalk look.
