Scare Factor - 2.5/5 - Too many dead spots on the trail, not the kind of dead spots we were looking for.  Not scary and minimally fun.

Actors - 2/5 - Way too many, out-of-costume guides.  They'd shine light right into our eyes.  One actor just kept screaming in my ear and I had to remind him that, indeed, as a human, I have an itty bitty ear drum, which didn't stop him and then I just felt harassed.  The actors just didn't seem to know what they were doing, and when one seemed promising because he was walking backwards, in front of us, the entire time he was guiding us, his reason for doing so wasn't cool, witty, or clever, it was because he was afraid of being punched... That sucked.  At least lie to me!!!

Set Design/Props/FX - 2/5 - The first little place was cute with dark, tarpy areas.  For the most part, the scenes were way, way, way too short, sparsely decorated, and far from each other.  The clown area looked really promising, but it lasted like five steps.  Their blood is shiny and we liked that.  I don't know, I think they're past their day and need to have a disorienting dilemma if they wanna be relevant again.  There's no music!  And the only lights used are flashlights and real, white-stringed, icicle Christmas lights.

Length - 1/5 - What made this trail long was the fact that a costume-less guide, in a hooded sweatshirt (unless hoodies are the new, fandangled scary outfit) would stop us about every 20 paces or so and ask us to play a game, if we had our whole group, if we knew where momma was, or tell us some tedious story.  If we'd walked the trail on our own, then we would've been done in ten minutes.

Overall - 1.5/5 - They just need to ask themselves what they're doing in this business.  Honestly, their actors are not trained and their sets are too short & sparse.  This haunt is like a headache-filled afterthought.

If you don't pay attention and if your imagination isn't pretty much engaged, you're going to miss things and you're going to miss opportunities for it to be as compelling and as creepy as it can be. -Bruce Greenwood
