The Hacker House is offering a most unique opportunity next weekend only (Dec 16-17). Afraid of the dark? Hacker House presents a journey through your worst nightmares. For one weekend only, we are opening our haunted house for a completely unique experience. You, your friends, one glowstick - in the Hacker House. This is THE Nightmare Before Christmas. No, this isn't a movie theme, or a twisted Christmas event. This is a nightmare, in the dark, a few screams before the Christmas holidays. Imagine your with some friends, and are driving down a long, dark farm road. The conversation ceases as you pull up to the old, abandoned haunted house. You and your friends slowly approach and tentatively go in to the haunted house. You can only whisper, fearful of anyone, or any... thing, hearing you in the silence. As you explore deeper into it's depths, things move at the edge of darkness. Paranormal? possibly. Is anyone else in here? What was that? Oh my... Let's put this into perspective...
Yours truly will be participating, but there's no room for the "infamous" Bacon this time. This will be pure, in-your-face (but you'll never see us coming) terror. It won't be quite as long as our normal tour, but I promise that it will be well worth it. Dress warm, and just know that any cell phones, cameras, flashlights, lighters or anything else that produces light beyond the light stick that your given can and will be confiscated if you even so much as think about bringing it in. No cheating this time!
And, and I've been doing some paranormal investigating of my own at Hacker House lately. Needless to say, my findings have been...disturbing...at the least. Ever heard a sweet, young, disembodied voice ask you to play? Neither had I until I went back and watched the video I took and listened to my digital voice recorder 2 days later.
