Title: no scare sticks?
Post by: packbacker on September 28, 2015, 07:46:20 PM
I saw something at Lake Hickory Haunts that I had never seen before this year.  For an additional fee you could purchase a glow stick/bracelet/etc that would signify to the actors not to scare you.  Saw it mentioned online at some other trails as well.

Seriously?  People go to those things and pay extra NOT to be scared?  It just seems so counter-intuitive...

I need to purchase one of these bracelets for my Hacker House visit.

I could see it being a good way for kids to get introduced to haunts, but other than that I don't really get it. I do remember a haunt from a few years ago used to do something similar with blankets for the smaller kids. Bar H maybe?
