I've noticed a lot of guests on here lately. Please don't be afraid to sign up and join in on any and all discussions. We may have a small member base now, but it's growing each and every day. Help us make NCHaunts and Frightseekers 2 of the best sites on the internet to talk about haunts and have fun! The more members we get, and the more posts are made, the better it will get. Signing up is one of the few things on here to NOT be afraid of....  |

I NEED FLYERS/ADVERTISEMENTS TO PASS OUT!!
Classes start on Monday so I want to be able to start handing out stuff, and putting stuff around Campus.
Also there is a Halloween store opening up next to where my mom works and I want to go there with some material to hand out and hopefully post in the store.

Dear Master Admin, do we have any such thing to hand out? Or perhaps we could brainstorm on a design, and have people print out their own and/or make copies to distribute? Everything approved by the owner, though...

Karma, we're working on something as I type this. We're thinking of possibly having a design contest for the posters.
Also, we're nearing the 200 member mark! It's awesome to see so many people joining, but don't be afraid to post! There are some great people on here, and some incredible haunt owners. So post up, ask any question, and let us know what we can do to improve, build and grow!

The design contest is a GREAT idea, and hopefully, more people will get involved. I like the idea of maybe getting tickets to all the featured haunts as a prize? We can advertise on Facebook too, see if there are any graphic designers in our midst.
Something else that may be worth thinking about is having a Frightseekers night at one of the haunts? Maybe not on the opening weekend, but generate enough interest in getting everyone together one night for the experience. We could also gain more interest from other haunt guests so they would sign up and join in the fun.

I would like to think the winner contributor should at least be an active member. I know last year, the Monster Tour tickets were given away at random, and far too many of them went to waste. So let this be a heads-up to those who are possibly think of entering the contest (if we do decide to do it).
And a Frightseeker night would be a great idea. I know I met a fellow Frightseeker last year, but to my knowledge I didn't meet anymore. Why not share a haunt with a fellow haunt lover?

Another idea off the top of the dome. Haunt music/Haunt SFX on the site, maybe something where people can easily turn it on or off, having something different for each section of the site. I love going to websites that have creepy music or sound effects. I had a playlist that had nothing but horror movie music and people loved it! When I had that playlist I had more hits then ever, I think a lot of people went just for the music
