Also the Winston-Salem Spirit store is open in Stratford Commons.  Looks like a smaller area than last year......still got a lot of work to do to get everything up and displayed.

I always wait until the last minute to buy additions for my house.  Do you know if the prices are cheaper now opposed to a month from now?  Thanks.

"Usually"
prices will not go down until after the weekend before Halloween like on Monday the 29th this year, & the day after Halloween EVERYONE is usually at least 50% off, However if you go to Spirit.com & "join" on the mailing list they will send you coupons while they are open...I got one this week for 20% off any item....

Nice!  Good to know, thanks for your help.  I think I'm going to try a different approach and buy stuff steadily instead of all at once this year.

So here is your Winston-Salem round-up from my errands this morning:

Wal-mart has an early display up.  Maybe 1/4 full.
K-Mart and Target about the same.
Homegoods seems to have all their stuff out.
Michael's seems to have all their stuff out and having a 30% off sale on select lighted items.
AC Moore seems to have nothing.
Party City has the costume section up but decorations still way on the light side.
Factory Card Outlet wasn't open but you can see 1/2 or more of their stuff is out.
Spirit Halloween is still a work in progress.

And I made it out with the wallet relatively unscathed.  FYI lights seem cheapest at Target depending on the type you are looking for.

The Target in Rock Hill is putting up their Halloween stuff as of noon today.  Did notice some Spirit stores in the Charlotte area have their signs up as well.  I love this time of year.

I've taken so many photos of halloween merch that I meant to post on here. Maybe soon. Rubies shrieks everytime she sees a pumpkin.

My 1st attempt at uploading pics, hope this works.

A favorite prop from my collection.
Rescued this headless body from a dump, gave her a new death.
Bought the shrunken head from Spencer's long time ago.

I call her "BeetleJuice's Wife"

I'm at Lowes Hardware right now and they have some cool things. Mostly cute, I like the tree.

Anyone put up their halloween village this year? I helped put up a friend's collection last night.
Makes me want to go out and get some new pieces. A store in Mt. airy used to have the coolest village setup with a homemade halloween tree.
